Powtran Technology is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales, and service of intelligent motor control products and complete sets of equipment. In 1984, the State Economic Commission approved the Dalian Motor Factory to introduce Toshiba variable-frequency drive technology, marking the beginning of the industrialization of China’s VFD industry. In 1994, Powtran’s VFDs began to be sold domestically, and in 2001, Dalian Powtran Technology Co., Ltd. was established. Over four decades of development, the company has built a nationwide service network centered on Dalian, Shenzhen, and Dongguan, with additional branches in Wuxi, Chengdu, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang, Qingdao, and Shenyang. Guided by the core values of “integrity, consensus, collaboration, and sharing,” the company adheres to a management strategy focused on market, technological, and product innovation. Upholding the principle that “serving customers is the sole reason for Powtran’s existence,” the company leverages the provincial-level Electrical Drive Engineering Technology Research Center to independently develop and establish core technology platforms—including high-performance vector control for VFDs, servo drives, new energy systems, and photovoltaic inverters.

Powtran is a vice-chairman unit of the China Inverter Association, promoting the advancement and standardized development of inverter technology in China. It has participated in the formulation of multiple national standards and has been awarded the title of “Famous Trademark of Liaoning Province” numerous times.

Top 100 enterprises recognized by the Dalian Municipal Government as “Innovative Growth Enterprises” and “Energy-Saving Growth Enterprises”;

Underwent an external audit and obtained ISO9001:2015 quality system certification; has participated in the Hannover Messe in Germany for fourteen consecutive sessions.
The PI150 series compact frequency converters have obtained the EU CE certification and a design patent, and are now being fully launched onto the market.

The new Powtran base has opened and officially begun operations; a new store on Alibaba.com International Station has opened; the PI550 series vector-control VFDs have been launched.
